Little Moon's Latest Marketing Strategy

Little Moon’s is a company we love for both its marketing and its incredible Mochi Ice Cream!

They first became popular during the lockdown and have gained popularity since focusing on trends and harnessing their organic trend.

In 2021, Little Moons first became viral through TikTok, boosting a 700% increase in sales, and they have continued their marketing strategy by creating viral social media content. They gained sales through their content and user-generated content that reviewed the product and gave tips on getting their hands on the delicious ice cream.

Their marketing team has been busy getting ready for the launch of their new Mochi Sorbet. The social media posts gave teasers for the new launch through black and white photos on Instagram.

This post, in particular, caused confusion, with some of their followers questioning whether this was a mistake or a glitch and some asking what was happening. The post led to more interaction with the post as their consumers were intrigued by what they were doing.

They then started posting black and white images with small bits of colour coming through – again intriguing consumers more.

This marketing followed through onto their website by changing all the content to black and white and giving you a ‘refresh’ button which changes the website to full colour for the launch of Refreshos.

In the office, we are so excited to try out the new Refreshos, and we can’t wait to see what their future marketing will contain, as the launch of this campaign has been done so well!
